COLUCCI on Savile Row with Holland & Sherry

Inside the Bespoke World of British Craftsmanship

Last week, COLUCCI had the honour of taking part in a two-day experience hosted by Holland & Sherry as part of Design Destination London — an invitation-only programme offering rare access to the world of British bespoke craftsmanship.

Titled “Inside the Bespoke World of Savile Row, St James’s and Mayfair,” the experience celebrated centuries of mastery, heritage, and artistry, bringing together exceptional makers — many of them Royal Warrant holders — who continue to preserve these time-honoured skills today.

The journey began at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, before moving through the heart of British tailoring to Holland & Sherry’s Savile Row showroom, their ancestral home from which they have dressed the world’s finest in both clothing and interiors.

As part of the programme, COLUCCI was invited to present on the craft of bespoke ties and scarves — exploring silk selection, pattern scale, colour, and the deeply personal nature of accessories made to last. We spoke about how these pieces function not merely as finishing touches, but as expressions of identity, memory, and quiet confidence.

To be welcomed into Holland & Sherry’s Savile Row space — a house founded in 1836 and synonymous with the highest standards of British cloth — was a true privilege. Their enduring commitment to craftsmanship and excellence made the setting particularly meaningful.

The experience concluded with an intimate evening reception at the Savile Row showroom, featuring a tasting of Savile Row Gin, beautifully crafted cocktails, and exceptional catering by chef Elliott Grover of CUT at 45 Park Lane: thoughtful hospitality, rich conversation, and a shared respect for craft made for a memorable close.

We are deeply grateful to Holland & Sherry and Design Destination London for the invitation, and to everyone who joined us over the two days.

We invite you to explore our current collection of ties and scarves, and if you’re interested in learning more about bespoke ties or scarves, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
